Well this week was life as usual. My 13 year old Christian went for his physical this week and we found out (no surprise) that I know have a 2nd son in the house going through puberty...yes he grew 4 inches and gained 18 lbs in one year!

Saturday we were able to celebrate the Chinese Autumn Moon Festival (rescheduled from last weekend due to the weather). It was so neat getting to meet other families in the area who have adopted from China and will be a neat place for Grace to connect. The little girls (all girls) ranged from 1 year (Lily) to 7 years old. Most around 2-4 years old. Most of the children interestingly were special needs adoptions, only 2 were through the traditional program. I think there are 10 children or so in the group. They are all from the Concord, Mooresville, Huntersville area. One of the families (thanks Karen) opened her home to the group. They had a great yard for it and the kids played, we ate, made paper lanterns, had moon cakes (both Chinese traditions) and enjoyed s'mores. Great time. Check out some pictures.
