The Story of the Whale
The Pond Was A Lot of Fun Too...
Myrtle Beach and a Reunion!
Oh my gosh it has been an amazing 3 days! We spent it at Myrtle Beach with our family and my sisters' family but this trip was even more special because we also got to spend it with the Adcox Family! We met Jim and Emily in China last year when we got Grace and they got their son Noah who is 1 month younger than Grace. It was a great time. I have so many moments to share with you from the trip and so many pictures that capture the moments better then my words so I will post several posts. I just have so many photos it makes it hard to choice. Our kids all took to each other so well and it made for a tough good bye, but we know we will see each other again so it will just be for a while! Above is a shot of Christian and Luke. Luke loved hanging with my big boys.
Well This Week Had A Couple Bumps in the Road
What a week.....we started out with a pretty normal well Monday at least. Tuesday was one of those days you just want to have a "redo" on. What began great with a much needed cut and color went south quick when Grace fell and we ended up in ER with her getting her head glued shut. What a trooper she is! Thank God for my sister who was there and could think for me til I could do for myself. I tell you though by the end Grace looked in the mirror and saw her cut all shut and turned to the doctor and said "All better, thank you". Gotta love her. So I decided that evening to keep my word and take the big boys to see "Captain America". Logan however said Mommy my ear is really hurting can you take me to the doctor. Since we were leaving in 2 days for the beach and he has a high tolerance to pain I thought I would drop by and get it checked on way to the movie...my goodness ear double ear infection in both ears!!!! But I will say the week got much better.....as we headed off to the beach on Thursday stay tuned for a fabulous update on our few days at Myrtle Beach.

Another Week on the Go....Glad to All be Home
It has been another week on the go and so glad to all be home. I had another week traveling with work, but at least day trips to Greenville, SC and Greensboro, NC and not any over night trips. Work has kept me very very busy this week so been pretty heads down there.
I did manage Friday to make it over to my favorite local children's boutique Audreys which I try to hit end of each season and buy gorgeous clothes on clearance for Grace for the next season. Oh I got some beautiful things and made my first Olivia purchases. Two girls, are you kidding me, this is going to be dangerous!
Logan came home today and had a great time. He said his favorite thing the high dive and then the zip line. His least favorite things, no air conditioning and waking up at 6:30 every morning. I will say I was a bit shocked though he also came home very horse and covered head to toe with a rash. So he went took an oatmeal bath, rubbed down with baby oil, cortisone cream, aquafor and lotion and kept him on Benedryl. I am hoping it passes or we will be at the doctor. He was on an antibiotic (sulfur) for the bug bit infection and wondered if it was from that ( I react that way to sulfur) but he did have it in him for 3 days before camp with no rash so that stumps me a little.....keep him in your prayers and for this rash and hoarseness to go away as he rests tonight.
Tomorrow is a day of celebration! Guy and I will be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary! We are going to have a date afternoon after church with lunch and a movie while mom watches the kiddos! Looking forward to it.
Update with Olivia...still waiting on I-797C.....
