Day Two In Zhengzou

Last day we enjoyed dinner with our friends the Leonards that we have been so blessed to travel with. It was an experience since no one in the restaurant understood English. We got a lot of laughs though.

Olivia has done well, she had a tough 30 minutes yesterday crying but has bounced back with a vengence. From the laughs and smiles you see at bath tub last night where the girls were laughing so hard to to her running around with Grace being silly and making necklaces.

She and Grace are connecting which I have loved seeing. She is doing better with me, let me bath her and do her nails and pretty her up last night, but still prefers Guy for sure. That is hard for me but trying to be patient. Guess in one sense it is easier because Grace is the one who wants me, but still I would her to be as ready to love me as much as I love her. Pray for me here, I am thankful for each step I get closer to her.

Today we officially became Olivia's parents. Great day! Then after the registration office we went with the Leonards to the park. The kids rode rides and we enjoyed the walk, fed pigeons and ate McDonalds! All resting now, Olivia just woke, so think I will get some 1:1 time with her ...enjoy the photos.

  1. Oh my Word!!!!! I don't think I laughed that hard in a long time! I think it all started when Gracie did that fall/twist/and spin! That started it and it didn't stop! We moved mountains here today ~ Alex just called out to me Mama to get attention! YEAH!!!!!!

You guys are totally awesome and I am so happy we are traveling together once again! I could not of had imagined doing this with any other family! There were times I didn't believe it would happen ~ and yet here we are! How blessed our we (the Leonard's) to have friends like you & Guy to take this amazing journey with once again! Love you all......
